COVID 19 Update

Accommodation

The Cattery is a licenced twenty-pen unit with completely secure and individual units for each cat. Each pen has its own heater for colder conditions and individual outdoor run accessible 24 hours a day.

The exterior runs have lockable cat flaps to adjoining runs for families of cats from the same household.

Beds

For your cats comfort it is recommended that you bring an item of bedding, which your cat is familiar with e.g. a cushion or sweater as it will have a familiar smell of home to it. Please do not wash the bedding before you board the animal. If you have no pet bed we can supply bedding for your cat. Please ensure you let us know so we can get a pen ready before your cats arrival. You can bring scratch posts and toys that your cat is familiar with.

Feeding

Adults are fed twice a day, kittens and elderly according to their individual needs. We feed according to your pets requirements and special diets are catered for. All details are taken at time of booking. Prescription diets from your veterinary practice for specific conditions will need to be supplied by the owner, It is always helpful to know in advance of any foods that make your cat ill so that we can avoid them before feeding.

Health

All cats must be vaccinated against t Feline infectious enteritis, rhinotracheitis and calcivirus - cat flu annual vaccination . Neutering of male cats is required if they are over 9 months of age. Please ensure that your cat is regularly treated for fleas. Veterinary support is available from our own designated vet. Any costs incurred for treatment must be met by the cats owner.
